This great couple met at Leadership Workshops (not sure of the exact title, just know Leadership in the community was the point of the community group). Anyway, Stephanie's sister was a client (Nichole and her two adorable kids) as is her close friend Rusti - who I am so lucky to have in my life - so we met up for fun engagement pictures. Stephanie and Eric are getting married this Fall in Orlando.

Yes, as you all are aware, June in Florida is miserable. They were great sports and we kept in fun and fast! Thanks again Stephanie and Eric, and I agree, Orlando really is more than Disney. Just don't tell my kids!

The way Stephanie is smiling at Eric in this photo is priceless. You can tell they are both so happy.

This photo was taken just prior to a mad bee attack.

I always get asked what "to wear" to photo shoots. Stephanie's bright, yet casual top coupled with Eric's blue and green tone stripes play well together against the lush greenery. Great choice of colors.

"Sponge Bob Square Pants really does have educational value..."

in case you didn't know this, "yes I am a geek". So, after watching an interesting segment on Nova (pbs.org) about an MIT study, Alzheimer's, and the brain reconnecting neural transmitters basically getting some of their life back, I look at James and suggest maybe we should cut down on the Sponge Bob in our house and make things a bit more cognitively interactive. He laughed.

My lovely assistant Miriah! Going for a funky, urban feel.

Hank is on his way to tell me how I did something wrong, forgot something, didn't get the right soda, not sure quite what it was but he is yelling "MOM, why didn't you...."

Poor kid, to have a Mom he has to correct so often.

Hanging out with Judge Starnes, Judy and the cattle on their ranch.

My favorite.

This elusive pink flower was a bit of a hike, but well worth it! Does anyone know the name, Latin or redneck for this flower? Please leave a comment if you do and I will pass it on to the Judge.

We had a lovely evening chatting about a wide range of topics, cattle (obviously) autism (not my son, but about Temple Grandin, Ph.D., the most accomplished and well-known adult with autism in the world.) We chatted about her work on the design of livestock handling and how she changed these facilities. Must see Netflix choices and the brain and it's impact on families. Thank you for a perfect evening and a plus, I didn't have to make dinner. He he.

This lovely girl was down visiting from Ohio. They come each summer for a few weeks. I was lucky to get asked to take her Senior pictures and we even ran into her Dad fishing at the Sanibel Pier. Thanks for a fun morning. It is so refreshing to chat with a girl with a strong head on her shoulder and quite the bright future.

Miss Emy

Summer does this escalator move with the two little ones and she can carry them both. Case is a bit worn out from all the snapping.
